The work of tree plantation is going on in many districts through the Government of Maharashtra. To increase the number of trees in Satara, 250 trees will be given to each Gram Panchayat village under Plant Trees, Live Trees and Earn Money. From these trees of various species, 4 women will get employment under Umed Self-help groups.
