गणेश जयंतीनिमित्त पुण्यासह देशभरात कीर्ती असलेल्या श्रीमंत दगडूशेठ हलवाई गणपतीच्या दर्शनासाठी भविकांनी पहाटे पासूनच गर्दी केलीय. गणेश जयंतीनिमित्त मंदिरात पाहटे पासूनच विविध धार्मिक कार्यक्रमांचं अयोजन करण्यात आलं होत. पहाटे तीन वाजता ब्राह्मणस्पती सुप्त अभिषेक कारण्यात आला. त्यानंतर किराणा घराण्याच्या गायिका पद्मा देशपांडे यांनी आपली गायन सेवा श्रीगणेशाच्या चरणी अर्पण केली.On the occasion of Ganesh Jayanti, devotees thronged from early morning to have the darshan of the rich Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati, who is famous all over the country including Pune.
