The Harsul Lake, which is a major support for the city's water supply, currently has 21 feet of water left. Twelve and a half MLD of water is being pumped from the lake every day to quench the thirst of the citizens of 14 wards. Never before have such a large amount of water been available in Harsul Lake these days, but citizens have to wait for water, and the water supply system is seen to be inactive as there is no water supply to the city even when the Jayakwadi Dam is full. If there is no rain in June, Harsul Lake will reach its bottom due to evaporation and the daily pumping of about 13 MLD of water, after which the drinking water will definitely be at risk.
