A retaining wall collapsed at Pomendi Khurd in Ratnagiri taluka due to pre-monsoon rains. Three people were injured in the accident that occurred on Thursday evening and the injured are undergoing treatment at the District Government Hospital. The work of the retaining wall was being carried out on private land. All the injured workers are originally from Bijapur, Karnataka. A two-year-old child is among the injured in this incident. Two people who were trapped under the rubble of this wall were pulled out.
