Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme has been implemented in Maharashtra since kharif season of 2016. Farmers need to know some things to participate in crop insurance scheme. Applying to participate in this scheme does not mean that you are eligible for benefits. If your agricultural property is damaged due to a natural disaster, it is necessary to inform the insurance company within 72 hours.
