The Maharashtra government has extended the deadline to complete the process of RTE till March 10. So far, only 50,423 of the 101,967 students selected by the lottery system have taken their admission. This year, a total of 5,9,9,3 applications have been received for 5,959 seats in Mumbai, including 5,3 seats in Mumbai. Of them, 1,01,967 students were selected in a lottery manner, who was given the deadline till February 28 to determine access to the seats allotted.
