Kojagiri Purnima is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the state. Kojagiri festival is celebrated in a unique way in Umarga town of Dharashiv district. Various programs are organized at Shree Dutt Mandir on behalf of Shree Dutt Prasadic Mandal. Milk is collected from house to house in the temple. All come together to make masala milk and this milk is offered as prasad after moonrise. This tradition has continued for the last 35 years.
