In the basement of Vitthal Temple of Pandharpur, however, the officials of the department directly entered and inspected. After this some idols have been found in this cellar seven to eight different types of stone idols, coins have now been brought out from the cellar. Assistant Director of Archeology Department Vilas Vahane is currently inspecting and studying the idols. The possibility of some new remains coming out of this basement is now being expressed.पंढरपूरच्या विठ्ठल मंदिरातील तळघरात परंतु विभागाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी थेट प्रवेश करून पाहणी केली. यानंतर या तळघरात काही मुर्त्या आढळून आले आहेत सात ते आठ प्रकारच्या वेगवेगळ्या दगडी मुर्त्या, नाणी हे आता तळघरातून बाहेर काढण्यात आले आहे. याबाबत पुरातत्व विभागाचे सहाय्यक संचालक विलास वाहने हे सध्या मुर्त्यांची पाहणी करून अभ्यास करत आहेत. या तळघरातून अजूनही काही नवे अवशेष बाहेर येण्याची शक्यता आता व्यक्त होत आहे.
