After Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar and Dharashiv, now the district in Maharashtra has been renamed. The central government has approved the proposal to change the name of the city district to Ahilyanagar. Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has given the information that in the cabinet meeting today, approval has been given to change the name of the district to Ahilyanagar. Vikhe Patil has said that he is deeply thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for fulfilling the promise of changing the name of Ahilyanagar.छत्रपती संभाजी नगर आणि धाराशीवनंतर आता महाराष्ट्रातल्या जिल्ह्याचंच नामांतर करण्यात आलं आहे. नगर जिल्ह्याचं नामांतर अहिल्यानगर करण्याच्या प्रस्तावाला केंद्र सरकारने मंजुरी दिली आहे. आज मंत्रिमंडळाच्या बैठकीत जिल्ह्याचं नामांतर अहिल्यानगर करण्यास मान्यता मिळाल्याची माहिती महसूल मंत्री राधाकृष्ण विखे पाटील यांनी दिली आहे. अहिल्यानगर नामांतराची वचनपूर्ती केल्याबद्दल पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी, गृहमंत्री अमित शाह, मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे आणि उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांचे मनापासून आभार मानत असल्याचं विखे पाटील म्हणाले आहेत.
