मोठ मोठ्या शहरांमध्ये परदेशी भाज्यांना मोठी मागणी आहे. या भाज्यांची लागवड केल्यास शेतकऱ्यांना चांगले उत्पन्न आणि नफा मिळू शकतो. याचं उत्तम उदाहरण म्हणजे सातारा जिल्ह्यातील म्हसवे गावातील शेतकरी धनंजय चव्हाण होय. धनंजय आणि त्यांची पत्नी आशा हे गेले 14 वर्षापासून 16 परदेशी भाज्यांची शेती करत असून महिन्याला दोन ते अडीच लाखाचे उत्पन्न 6 एकर शेतीतून घेत आहेत.There is a huge demand for foreign vegetables in big cities. Cultivation of these vegetables can bring good income and profit to the farmers. A good example of this is Dhananjay Chavan, a farmer from Mhaswe village in Satara district. Dhananjay and his wife Asha have been cultivating 16 foreign vegetables for the past 14 years and are earning two to two and a half lakhs a month from their 6 acre farm.
