Ramnavami's festivals across the country with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, a collective marriage ceremony was organized at Mandodevi Devasthan on the border of Goregaon and Amgaon taluka in Gondia district. 137 couples were married in this collective wedding ceremony. For the last 33 years, a collective marriage ceremony has been organized on behalf of Surya Mandodevi Devasthan Samiti and so far over 3,000 couples have been organized by the marriage committee. Not only that, every couple also gives pots with essential items on behalf of this committee. In view of the work of this committee, the committee has been honored with the Phule, Shahu Ambedkar Award.संपूर्ण देशभरामध्ये रामनवमीच्या उत्सव मोठ्या उत्साहात पार पडला. या वेळी रामनवमीनिमित्त गोंदिया जिल्ह्यातील गोरेगाव आणि आमगाव तालुक्याच्या सीमेवर असलेल्या मांडोदेवी देवस्थान येथे सामूहिक विवाह सोहळ्याचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. या सामूहिक विवाह सोहळ्यामध्ये 137 जोडपे विवाहबद्ध करण्यात आले. गेल्या 33 वर्षांपासून सूर्यदेव मांडोदेवी देवस्थान समिती च्या वतीने सामूहिक विवाह सोहळा आयोजित करण्यात येत असून आतापर्यंत 3 हजारच्या वर जोडप्यांची विवाह समितीच्या वतीने लावलेली आहेत. इतकेच नव्हे तर प्रत्येक जोडप्यांना या समितीच्या वतीने जीवनावश्यक वस्तू सह भांडे सुद्धा दिले जातात.. या समितीच्या कार्याची दखल घेत सामाजिक न्याय विभागाच्या वतीने फुले, शाहु आंबेडकर पुरस्काराने या समितीला सन्मानित करण्यात आले आहे.
