मँचेस्टर, 11 जुलै : ICC Cricket World Cup तिसऱ्यांदा जग्गजेते होण्याचं भारताचं स्वप्न सेमीफायनलमध्ये न्यूझीलंडविरुद्ध पराभवाने उद्ध्वस्त झालं. न्य़ूझीलंडने भारताला पराभूत करून सलग दुसऱ्यांदा अंतिम सामन्यात धडक मारली आहे. भारताच्या पराभवानंतर संघासह देशवासीय निराश झाले आहेत. पराभवानंतर खेळाडूंनी सोशल मिडियाच्या माध्यमातून आपल्या भावना व्यक्त केल्या. तसेच चाहत्यांनी दिलेल्या पाठिंब्याबद्दल आभार व्यक्त केले आहेत. कर्णधार विराट कोहली, शिखर धवन, जसप्रीत बुमराह, जडेजा, कुलदीप यादव, हार्दीक पांड्या यांनी ट्विट केलं आहे.

सेमीफायनलमध्ये भारताची अवस्था 6 बाद 92 अशी झाली होती. त्यानंतर रविंद्र जडेजा आणि धोनीने शतकी भागिदारी करून विजयाच्या आशा निर्माण केल्या होत्या. जडेजाने अष्टपैलू कामगिरी करत 77 धावांची खेळी केली. जडेजानं म्हटलं की, खेळानं पराभवानंतरही उभा राहणं आणि कोणत्याही परिस्थितीत हार न मानणं शिकवलं आहे. खरंतर चाहत्यांच आभार माननं पुरेसं ठरणार नाही. चाहत्यांचा पाठिंबाच माझी प्रेरणा आहे.
